the systems design, architecture and implementation of a wireless handheld
receiving application for GEPS' Material Receiving and Distribution Warehouses.
Derived UML object models and Information structures for all system Interfaces
both to the Teklogix handheld and the underlying Citrix Metaframe Server.
Defined Database Transaction structures to Oracle 11.03/11i Enterprise Planning
Applications and encapsulated by COM Components written in VB6. Setup and
configured a total of Seven access points acting as Wireless Gateway for
the Teklogix handheld into the Company's LAN via 802.11b protocol.
Led the design and development of FiscalOutlook's integrated suite of web based financial services tools, running on Windows 2000 and Exchange 2000 server products. Derived the product architecture based on an n-tier component model, including server side components that abstracts the windows 2000 ACTIVE DIRECTORY via Active Directory Services Interface (ADSI), and middle tier components that encapsulates the business logic of FiscalOutlook's expense reporting, and Fiscal Alerts within a collaborative environment, derived from Exchange 2000 and Outlook for web access (OWA). Implemented component interaction via an XML based methodology and enabled support for client side processing via XMLHTTP and XSLT. Implemented component security via a combination of COM+ role based security and XML security descriptor feature of Exchange 2000 server. Mentored members of the development team on Internet based Software development issues.
Worked in a team of two in developing the Prototype for the new CareerStream, 3-Tier, Web Based, work flow application employing technologies such as COM, SOAP, XML, SQL SERVER 2000 in compliance with the HR-XML consortium and distributed over multiple Windows 2000 based application servers. Developed components in VB 6 as COM+ services, implementing Permission driven user Menuing, exposing methods as a web based service through SOAP and developed automated discovery of service methods of typical SOAP encapsulated objects. Assisted in the redesign of the existing database model to support new features of the application and wrote several Stored Procs, making extensive use of the XML features of SQL SERVER 2000. Derived the application object model to support the database schema and implemented XML based communication with the user Interface for transformation via the MSXML DOM and XSLT.
Assisted in the final phase of development of the Siemens SIPLACE PRO electronic chip placement software. latency by over 500%; Led the enhancement to the Trade capture subsystem
to support leg editing functionality.
Strategic Technologies Group: Defined and implemented the daily download
and publishing of energy data via SCEM's intranet for Marketing Department's
use in Gas pricing using VB6.0, VISUAL INTERDEV6.0 and ACTIVE SERVER PAGES.
Developed ACTIVEX DLL to Link and download historical as well as projected
future price information from proprietary energy server, classify, aggregate
and format the data for different pipelines and publish the formatted
data via Internet Explorer 4.0.
