Once
your account has been approved, you're ready to make calls.
- Dial the local access number below:
1 866 291 6470. After confirming your card and PIN,
the system will ask you to dial the number you wish to call. If you're
calling a number in the US or Canada, dial 1 plus the area code and
the number you wish to call. If on the other hand, you're calling an
international destination, dial 011 plus the country code, plus the
area code and phone number.
- If you have chosen an Account Number that is the same as the phone
number you are calling from, you will be prompted to enter the number
you wish to call. In this case there is no need to dial your account
number and PIN, one advantage of using your home phone as your account
number.
- If you are traveling outside of the local calling area, you can use
your account just like a calling card.
- Dial 1 866 291 6470 and then follow the voice prompts. Have your
Account Number and PIN handy before you call.
- Your account will be charged 6 cents per minute for calls in the
continental U.S. See our rates information for charges for calls
to Alaska, Hawaii and internationally. You will also be charged
40 cents if you call from a pay phone.
- Here are some hints to make calling easier:
- You can place additional calls without entering your Account Number
or PIN. After the party you are calling hangs up, stay on the line
and press **9. Then follow the prompts.
- Press # after entering a number and you will be taken quickly
to the next voice prompt. Also, once you have gotten familiar with
the system, you will find that you can begin entering numbers right
away; you don't have to listen to the whole voice prompt.
- Press * if you make a mistake entering your Account Number or
the number you're dialing. You will be returned to the previous
voice prompt so you can re-enter the number.
